my life....

School life:
The school year is in full swing and I'm absolutely loving my year so far! I have 20 adorable friends in my class that each have a unique personality. It's a completely different group of kids than I had last year, so I'm having to do a LOT of things differently...but it's been so great! And I have a great lady in my class to help who is AWESOME at what she does!!
I love the people that I work with...it's so great being surrounded by people that totally support one another. Last year, it was the first year for alot of us to work with each other since we became "east" and "north" so it took a little adjusting...but we started off this year smooth and it's been great so far! I'm so excited for the rest of the year!!
Life with Kyle:
Kyle has started grad school this semester and all along I knew he would be busy with it...Class on Monday and Thursday, church on Wednesday. Homework every other night....I knew our time together would be less but it has kept him SO busy!!! God def. knew what he was doing when he didn't open the door for him to go to grad school until we had been married for a couple years. I don't know if I could have handled him being so extremely busy the first couple years. When he has class he doesn't get home until 9 and there have been days that I've been tired from work that I'm already half asleep when he comes home so we don't talk at ALL that day!!
I'm so super proud of him and how hard he has been working so far this semester. He has been reading for class even!! haha- if you know him, that's a big deal and huge change from undergrad! ;) I may say I'm not exactly looking forward to the next 2 years of him being sooo busy, but through it all i'm still way proud of him for doing this!!
Mentoring life-
Our youth group has been doing a leadership mentor program for the last couple school years. I have always mentored a sweet girl and am still honored to get to mentor her again this year. However, God tugged at my heart this summer that I needed a mentor as well. Someone to keep me accountable, pray with me and to encourage me in my walk with Him. He placed the name of sweet lady at church on my heart... a sweet lady that is super busy. My first thought was, okay God, you know how busy she is...this wont work!!! When I talked with her about it, she agreed that she was busy, but if God placed her on my heart then He has a way for it to work out! And He has! She is faithful to text me and let me know she is praying for me...and just knowing she is doing that means so much to me. I'm excited for this mentor relationship to grow in Him.
Study life:
I've been reading alot of verses and focusing a lot on my words to people. I know how important they are and can be. Ephesians 4:9 talks about not letting "corrupt" talk come out of your mouth, but only using words that will build up others and giving grace to others that hear by the words I speak. I clearly paraphrased that! :) But, by hiding that verse in my heart the last couple weeks, God has also shown me other verses about my words and He laid a verse on Stacia's heart to text to me and it fit right along with that! "let these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart, be pleasing to you...."
